FROZEN SHOULDER SYNDROME,   also known as adhesive capsulitis, is a condition that can be very painful and debilitating.

Stiffness and pain can be severe at times, the following are common symptoms:

• Night pain, especially when lying on the affected side.
• Severe, sharp, and catching pain in the front of the shoulder, lasting up to 40 seconds. (Have to hold the shoulder tightly)
• Pain reaching in back pocket, putting on a coat, brushing the hair, inability to do up bra, and driving.
• Pain down the shoulder into the arm.
• Both active and passive movement are stiff, i.e. neither you nor someone else can move your shoulder.
